IDblog ... an information design weblog

December 22, 2002
IDJ is on the way!

Well, mine hasn't made it across the pond yet, but vol 10, num 3 of the Information Design Journal is apparently on its way. The issue's theme is "about the conquest of space ... the artificial space of information displays, embodied on a screen or on paper."

The publishers have made two papers available for download:

  • Paul Wilson's Constructing n-space: establishing a conceptual framework for the management and processing of complex and dynamic networked information flow
  • Linda Reynolds' Case study improving the user-friendliness of a directory of chemical substances: the approved supply lst

You can also check out Alan Davis' editorial, and a cartoon by Conrad Taylor titled Infonaut Vision.

If you're so inclined, you can also check out vol 10, num 1 and vol 10, num 2. But if you are a true ID fan, you'll also want to check out an IDJ subscribtion.
