Do you believe in miracles?

Meg inspired me to add my own right-nav decoration to IDblog. Having lived in Boston from 1976 to 1994, I'm afraid to hope. But there's just something so perfect about a 7-game Sox/Cubs World Series. Now if the teams can just deliver...

I heard a guy on the radio the other day with a message for fans who think (like they do every year) that this is the year the Sox are gonna go all the way: Just shut up. I guess he's sick of it. I haven't met any Red Sox fans, so I don't know. But maybe this is the year. I had hopes after they won game 1 against the Yankees (but then they had to go and tie it up in game 2).
