Bake sale for democracy

Rats. I'm probably posting this too late for folks to see, but just in case you see it on or before Saturday (and you're in the US), consider stopping by one of MoveOn's bake sales for democracy.

Comments

MJ and I hit the kitchen Friday, churning out a lemon tart and chocolate chip cookies. Brought in about $45 for MoveOn.org. And the collective take was over $700; if they really had 1,000 of these across the country, that's not a bad effort, not to mention the additional benefits of connecting people within many communities.

Thanks for the info about the bake sale, even after the fact. I notice folks are continuing to have events. As Lou sez, nice to get folks together...
