Fun things to do in Baltimore

There's just two weeks until the STC conference in Baltimore. There's still time to register! And here's a great list of fun things to do while in Charm City.

I can definitely second the recommendation for Amicci's in Little Italy (you must try the pane rotundo, bread covered with shrimp in a creamy sauce...yumm). I also like the Papermoon Diner ... ya gotta love a place which features "a pile of mismatched furniture, headless Barbies, naked mannequins (with limbs missing) and some very out-of-date clothes."

If you're local, do consider stopping by for the day. The conference is next to the train station, and day registrations are welcomed.

Hope to see you there hon!

IMHO, a visit the American Visionary Art Museum is crucial. There is no other museum anywhere that can inspire and move me like this one.

Just off the inner harbor.

I'll miss it, but as a native Balti-moron, I'd also recommend for seafood a stop at Bertha's Mussels:

Yum! I can still taste 'em! I have seen Bertha's green bumpersticker "EAT BERTHA'S MUSSELS" (http://www.sea-room.com/covers/B01111.jpg) plastered on a highway sign in South Dakota, and chased a car with in Phoenix just to see if they had any mussels recently ;-)

Also worthy seeing- Fort McHenry, Aquarium, Science Center, any bar in Fell's Point...
